NADFAS Church Recording started in Kent nearly 40 years ago in 1974, and Church Recorders have completed 91 Kent Church Records in the dioceses of Canterbury and Rochester, with a further 16 currently being recorded.   The Area is divided into East and West for practical purposes, with two Representatives on the Area Team.

The churches themselves are very varied in age and in nature.   Several have the remains of Saxon features, while many were altered by the Victorians.

To be a Church Recorder you have to be a full Society Member or an Associate Member of NADFAS, for insurance reasons.   Further information is obtainable from the Area Representative by email on
