This  year’s Past Chairman’s Lunch was held at Goodnestone Park Gardens on 12th July.  48 Past Chairman attended and enjoyed meeting old friends and catching up with everyone.  We had a very good lunch after which Mary Woodfield was presented with an award of a beautiful book on Cathedrals as a thank you for all the 15 year’s work she has done and

“for her leadership and inspiration

of the Heritage Volunteers Group of that Society

especially in creating a wide range of

needlework and embroidery for

Rochester Cathedral”

Work she still continues to do.

After lunch we went around the gardens of this lovely venue.  The weather behaved itself until the last 15 minutes but over all a good time was had by all.  A special thanks must go to Kate Cliffe who  organised the day.
